If you’ve been to The Works, you may have seen a tall, handsome, sweaty dude in the corner cheering the whole class on. That man just happens to be legendary Coach Lou Spanos. He is a defensive analyst for the University of Mississippi, a position he has held since 2023. He was the interim head football coach for the University of Connecticut in 2021. He was a defensive quality control and assistant linebackers coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1995 to 2009, the linebackers coach for the Washington Redskins from 2010 to 2011, and the defensive coordinator for the UCLA from 2012 to 2013. Throughout his career, Spanos has been to the Super Bowl three times, winning two of them with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2006 and 2009, and had been to the College National Championship once; in 2019 with Alabama. Today he sits down with Sarah and Aaron Segal to discuss his incredible career and the lessons he’s learned along the way. Even if you’re not a Sports Fan, Lou’s energy is contagious and this podcast has plenty of takeaways to make you better in business and in life.
